LEGACY #120

LEGACY #120

As a live act Possessed already returned in 2006, centered round original member Jeff Becerra, though this pioneer of Death Metal growling is chained to a wheelchair. Nobody took it for granted that a new album could compete with the classical first offerings and the equally sensational “The Eyes Of Horror” from the 1980s. But “Revelations Of Oblivion” even triumphs over the highest expectations, also winning the soundcheck of this issue.  Amon Amarth are already used to highest chart positions. “Berserker” will cement their standing as the predominating Viking Metal force. The Coburg-based wolf pack Varg re-recorded some older material.
