AMON AMARTH: Videoclip zu 'Heidrun'-Digital-Single
„The Great Heathen Army“, das letzte Studioalbum von AMON AMARTH, das bei Metal Blade erschienen ist, hat inzwischen auch schon ein Jahr auf dem Buckel, da kommen die Schweden überraschend mit einer 4-Track-Digital-Single um den Albumsong 'Heidrun' daher, zu dem auch gleich noch ein Video realisiert wurde.
Neben dem remixten 'Heidrun' enthält die gleichnamige Single-VÖ noch zwei Live-Bonustracks sowie einen „Goat Remix“.
Frontmann Johan Hegg kommentiert: „Heidrun is an interesting mythological character, it's a goat that stands on the roof of Valhalla eating the leaf of the big tree Lärad. The milk that she gives is the honey/mead that the warriors in Valhalla drink each night. The lyrics themselves are both about Vikings travelling the world but also metaphorically what it is to be a touring musician.“
